WW2 British / Canadian blue hospital top

A top made of a very soft cloth.
Outside is coloured blue and inside white.
One side is open over the total length and can be closed with 5 sets of with tie down straps.
Probably used for people that got hurt on an arm and can’t make the movement to put it through a sleeve.
Very strange and rare item!

Markings:
in the neck is a small white label that reads in red “Gift of Canadian red cross society” together with a red cross in the middle.

Condition:
unused / dirty from storage
