WW2 US M6 gasmask bag

This is a WW2 U.S. M6 type gasmask bag meant for the M1A1 and M3 type gasmask.
Mentioned in the “GI collectors guide Vol.1” on page 218.

Bag is in used condition, but complete with all its straps.
Color has faded and stamps are hard to read.

I think that the bag was post-war used as a schoolbag or something like that, because on the lid there seems to be an ink stain.

Never the less a very useable item as a filler until you get a better one or as a perfect bag to be used with re-enactment.
