WW2 U.S. Waco glider part
This is a little neat item.
Got this from a neighbor from my father.
For those who don’t know: he has a farm on the edge of the former 101st airborne division dropzone during WW2.
This is a wheel that supported the cable that pulled up the nose of the Waco CG-4 glider when it had landed and needed to be unloaded.
This is for sure an original 101st airborne division item that came directly from the former dropzone.
