WW2 British spike bayonet frog (3)

A nice mint condition WW2 British bayonet frog meant for the Number 4 series of spike bayonets.
This is the type that actually is produced for the spike bayonet, instead of the converted frogs that were meant for the sword bayonet.

These days these frogs are getting harder to get in nice condition.

Nice and clear dated with 1944.
