U.S. navy / coast guard medal

This is a medal in perfect condition that you don’t encounter much in Europe.
Don’t know how common they are in the U.S.
These medals were issued when the person became a expert pistol shot of the U.S. navy.
The picture does show the medal a bit difficult because light reflects on the gold colored surface.
There for I have made a close up picture of the front and hope it is more clear to see.
