U.S. Airforce boots
This is a pair of U.S. airforce boots that are unused.
The type that is used by WWII bomber crew members during their flights in their B-17 flying fortress !
Planes from that time area were not heated, so you would have to dress your self against the cold.
The boots are heavy duty use and are fur lined to make sure that you get warm feet.
Boots have rubber soles, to prevent slipping in the plane, but also 2 ankle straps, to prevent that the boots would be lost when the crewmember had to bail out with his chute.
Markings > on the side is the USAir force badge printed and the label reads “overshoe, flying Type A-1”
The zipper to open the boots is stamped with “Crown”.
Condition is unused, perfect mint condition and the leather is still in a very good condition.
