Pre WW2 Spanish bayonet with scabbard Model 1913

I first did not know from which country this bayonet came and also did not know how old it was.

After some research I discovered that this is a Spanish M1913 sword bayonet.
It was used with the 7 mm Spanish M1916 Mauser short rifle and also fits on the M1893 Mauser rifle.

As far as I could see on the stamps, this one was made at Artilleria Fca Nacional, Toledo, Spain.
It dates back to the 1920’s.

The M1913 bayonet was one of the only few bayonet types to utilize checkered wood grips.
The scabbard is leather with steel mountings.

Total length is about 50 centimetres ( about 20 inches)
